Klaviyo

With Klaviyo connected, the agent can sign customers up for email and SMS marketing with their consent, check whether they are subscribed, and send chat events that your Klaviyo flows can listen for.

Connect

With the sign-in button: click Continue to Klaviyo and approve access to lists, profiles, subscriptions and events on Klaviyo’s own screen.

With a private API key:

1. In Klaviyo, open Settings › Account › API keys and create a private API key.
2. Give it read access to accounts and full access to lists, profiles, subscriptions and events.
3. In the console go to Settings → Integrations → Klaviyo and paste it under Private API key (pk_…).

Caution

The six-character public key will not work — use a private key.

Settings

On the integration’s page, under What the agent may touch:

• List — the list new subscribers join. With no list, consent is recorded but nobody is added to a list.
• Event — the name chat events use, the metric your flows listen for.

Double opt-in lists send their own confirmation email before the customer is subscribed.

Consent

The agent signs someone up only after they say yes. Email and SMS consent are asked separately.

Disconnecting revokes a Connect-button connection from this page. A private key must be deleted in Klaviyo.
