Web chat

Web chat puts your agent on your own website as a chat bubble.

Add it to your site

1. Open Web chat in the console sidebar and pick the agent.
2. Copy the snippet and paste it before </body> on every page where the chat should appear:

YOUR_WIDGET_KEY is already filled in on the snippet the console gives you.

WordPress or WooCommerce?

Use the WordPress plugin instead — no code to paste, and logged-in WooCommerce customers are recognised.

Business hours

Set your opening hours on the same screen. With hours set, the agent knows when you are closed and says when you open instead of promising a call right now. With no hours set, the agent never mentions them — and never claims to be closed.

Changing the key

If you rotate the widget key, the old snippet stops working — replace the snippet on your site with the new one from Web chat setup.
