WordPress plugin

The Fluxy plugin adds web chat to a WordPress site without touching code.

  1. In the console, go to Settings → Channels, find WordPress and download the plugin (a .zip file).
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the file, install and activate it.
  3. Open the plugin’s settings page in WordPress and connect it to your workspace — you are sent to the console to approve (an admin of the workspace must do this), then back. Changed your mind? Close the tab; nothing is connected.
  4. Choose the agent that answers on the site.
  • The chat bubble on your site, always pointing at the right widget.
  • Your pages become knowledge. Published pages are sent to the agent so it can answer from them. Drafts and private pages never are.
  • WooCommerce customers are recognised. When a shopper is logged in, the chat knows who they are (securely signed). To let the agent look up orders and stock, also connect WooCommerce under Settings → Integrations.
  • Privacy link. Your site’s privacy page is linked inside the chat.
  • Automatic updates. New versions appear on the WordPress Plugins screen like any other plugin; packages are signed and verified before installing.
