Instagram & Messenger
Instagram Direct and Facebook Messenger are connected through Meta’s own login window, using the Facebook Pages you manage.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A Facebook Page you are an admin of.
- For Instagram: an Instagram professional (business or creator) account connected to that Page in Meta Business Suite.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”- Go to Settings → Channels and choose Instagram or Messenger.
- Meta’s window opens. Grant access and select at least one Page.
- Back in the console, pick the account to connect. Leaving the page before you pick connects nothing.
- Point an agent at the channel from Agents.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- “You did not share a Page with us” — pick at least one Page in Meta’s window and start again.
- “None of the Pages you granted has an Instagram account connected to it” — in Meta Business Suite, connect your Instagram account to a Page, then start again.
