BigCommerce

With BigCommerce connected, the agent searches your products with live stock, answers “where is my order?” and shares a cart link.

  1. In BigCommerce, open Settings → Store-level API accounts → Create API account.
  2. Give it read-only access to Products, Orders and Information & settings. Nothing else is needed.
  3. Save. BigCommerce shows the Access token and the API path (https://api.bigcommerce.com/stores/<hash>/v3/) once — copy both.
  4. In the console go to Settings → Integrations → BigCommerce. Paste the API path (or just the hash) into Store hash or API path, and the token into Access token.

Before saving, we ask BigCommerce which store it is and check that the token can read products and orders. A wrong token or a missing permission fails here.

  • Cart links hold one item. For a multi-item cart the agent hands checkout to a person.
  • Order lookups need the order number and the email or phone on the order.
  • Prices are shown in your store’s default currency. Customer-group prices and price lists are not used.
  • Disconnecting deletes the token on our side. BigCommerce cannot revoke it remotely — delete the API account in BigCommerce too.
